Going Back Home ::

12 Oct

I stopped off on the way back from work on Monday night for a quick snap and out of pure randomness started to think back over the past year at how successful the site has been. Now it seems that because the Drift and show events are pretty much at the end of the season if almost feels like JDY Motorsport Uk is fading out with them.

As you could most likely guess I’m not too keen on the idea of that and most of you would also agree, so instead of using the quiet period to prepare for next year I’m still gonna work my hardest to find interesting things to write up on. And if there is ever a dull moment the odd reflection of past web mines and older videos from the 2010 season plus I will be updating soon on the Roadster project. I know its been a long time since she’s had some attention but work is currently being done to her and all will be revealed next month.

However, without shows even what I have planned for ‘Off Season’ wont be enough to fill the pages each week so if anyone local wants to organise a shoot, preferably in the South UK region, I would be more than happy to help out. Especially if anyone has winter projects that need some recognition just send me an email at jdymotorsport@hotmail.co.uk.

Hopefully we will see some more from Mark and Benny over the winter months also.

As ever I would like too thank every one that has been a part of JDY Motorsport Uk, which is all you fans, supporters and contributors. It wouldnt be what it is with out all of you.
I’m so greatfull to all of you because 2010 has been such an awesome year for me and I’m loving every minute of it, getting over 1000 views a month is outstanding considdering I never expected anyone to take much notice of what I was doing. Before JDY began I had never picked up a camera but over this year I have managed to learn so much thanks to friends of mine. It feels so good hearing people say that you have a talent or a gift when the only reason I took photos was to show people what I’m interested in… which isn’t really photography, its the stuff in front of the camera.
It’s something that I’ve grown to love just from the responce I get from all of you.

Thanks again to all of you for your support and I’ll be updating again shortly.
